What made you decide to train with Kim Oddo and Body By O?

After extensive research on fitness competitions, I decided this was a new challenge I wanted to take on. Eventually, I would like to become a personal trainer, so I figured this would be a great way to do my own experiment on myself to see what I can do as far as transforming my body how I desire. It was after searching for a trainer based in Las Vegas that had experience in bikini competitions where I found a spotlight on IFBB Bikini Pro Stacey Alexander and eventually found an article on the 702 Angels. From there, I learned that she was working with Kim Oddo and Body By O. That’s where the fun started.

What does your typical training consist of?

Before my competition prep began, I was working out 4 to 5 days a week, doing a day or two of cardio and mostly attending intensive boot camp classes, but little to no weight training. During my competition prep, I eventually worked my way up to more than an hour of cardio 7 days a week and weight training for 5 days a week. Now that I am in off-season, I plan on continuing my training the same but less cardio and more weight training. I am still experimenting with what minor changes and tweaks will work for me!

What suggestions do you have for others looking to make a body transformation or compete in a competition?

I’ve learned that you will transform your body with proper dieting and training. The results are amazing! Competing in NPC Bikini Competitions takes a lot of time, discipline, and willpower. If you can achieve this, you can achieve anything. It’s a choice that you have to commit to 100% to get 100% results. You’re not doing it for anyone else but yourself so it’s all about how bad you want it. You realize how far you can push yourself and push through the hard times. Preparing for a competition is such a rewarding experience knowing that not only have you reached your goals, you are inspiring others every day to achieve theirs. And when it comes to competition time, it’s time to show off your hard work and the experience is incredible.
