2021 Olympia Bio | IFBB Pro Bikini Lucia Malavaze
Hello, my name is Lucia Malavaze.
I am from Brazil and currently living in Cleveland, Ohio. I have always been a great admirer of the sport of bodybuilding, but I never imagined one day becoming a Professional athlete! After a life changing fatality in my life, I decided to start competing to overcome my loss. So, in 2015 I started my career in bodybuilding. I went on stage for the first time as an amateur competitor in Southern Brazil and won my first championship. From that day on I realized that bodybuilding was part of me, I realized that I was born to be a bodybuilder. Bodybuilding taught me to see life differently. This sport saved my life! It taught me to believe in myself. With that motivation I went on to eventually become a pro athlete in the IFBB on August 11, 2018 in São Paulo – Brazil, at The Muscle Contest-Brazil. Soon after winning my pro card in Brazil, I decided to come to the U.S. to try to become one of the best athletes in the world, I always felt I had potential, but I needed a coach with advanced knowledge to help me achieve my goal, compete on the Mr Olympia stage, I've been a fan of my coach for a long time, and I had my first contact with him, in one of his Visits to Brazil to accompany his athletes, and see him with all this knowledge and affection for his athletes, aroused me even more admiration and respect, in 2020 I had the honor of being accepted in the best team in the world BODYBYO, From that moment on, with the knowledge of my coach and my dedication, we won my spot for Mr. Olympia 2020, and 2021, preparing with my coach is super pleasurable, because I have all the support I need, and thanks to all this support this year I will be able to show my best physique on the stage of Mr. Olympia 2021. Today I am a proud Pro Bikini athlete representing The Team BODYBYO. I was able to use my sport as a method of overcoming the pain that I experienced in my life. Bodybuilding taught me in days, something that would have otherwise taken years to learn. It has taught me to have discipline, respect, and focus in every aspect of my life. There are two words that summarize bodybuilding for me: “Discipline and Overcoming”!
